Monitoring orders for microplastics in drinking water have motivated advances in sampling and analysis techniques for this emerging contaminant class. Likewise, microplastic addition to the candidate contaminant list for UMCR 6 has demonstrated strong interest in this contaminant class. These actions for drinking water will likely frame future research in stormwater and wastewater systems. Come learn about the CA monitoring orders and regulatory updates, questions to ask a contracting lab, study design 101, and lessons learned from stormwater and wastewater microplastics studies. The webinar will include expert presentations and panel discussions, so come with your questions!
