This webcast took place on Thursday, July 23, 2020, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM Eastern.

This webcast introduces the concepts behind the science of advanced data analytics to better understand what happens in the “black box” algorithms that produce new data and explains the potential for use in water resources recovery facilities. Moving beyond the traditional “data acquisition” and time series trending packages in SCADA systems, these technologies seek to transform data into information and provide the knowledge needed for operations staff to take action. Concepts covered include intelligent systems, real-time controls, real-time decision support systems, and digital twins. Case study examples of deployment of these technologies are also presented. The webcast attendee will gain the knowledge to envision the application of advanced data analytics in their own facility or systems.
