Climate change is a critical issue in stormwater planning. Understanding how precipitation patterns are changing and being able to respond to those changes is highlighted in this learning module.  Leading experts share their experiences and current modeling approaches, both of which are important to solving these issues.

At the end of this learning module, participants will be able to

  • assess and visualize extreme storm events using innovative tools;
  • explain how interconnecting stormwater models can help establish a stormwater management plan; and
  • identify ways to assess and manage critical stormwater infrastructure.

This learning module is also available as a part of the Sustainable Development Goals and Climate Change Short Course.
