Having reliable equipment is essential to the operation of a Water Resource Recovery Facility. There is no “Off Switch” and service must be provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The key to maintaining this performance is by proactively determining performance standards, examining how equipment failures occur and developing reliable indicators or pending failure. Predictive maintenance is an essential tool in maintaining reliability. Performing predictive maintenance allows asset management professional to detect problems with equipment before costly break downs occur. This Webcast will review the fundamental practices for predictive maintenance. A case study will examine the application of these principles in a large water resources recovery facility.
