There are practical solutions to these issues, that are driven by concerns to be a good neighbor and sometimes by regulatory priorities, and this webcast will help by focusing on three major categories for temporary odor control:

  • Temporary Construction & Process Techniques
  • Chemical Addition
  • Portable Odor Control Systems

Our speakers will discuss construction and modification concepts to temporarily suppress odor formation and release. Also, by sequencing work, enhancing dispersion and using existing resources such as activated sludge diffusion, downtime can be minimized. In some instances, temporary chemical addition stations can be set up quickly to alleviate and control odors and these units could be left in place as long term back up. In addition, portable odor control systems can be purchased or rented and brought to a site. For example, carbon is a good portable odor treatment choice because it works immediately and it can be installed in roll-off containers or housed in vessels on enclosed or open trailers hauled by heavy duty pick-up trucks.
