This session focuses on dissolved oxygen as a key operational parameter for energy efficiency and nutrient removal. At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to
- recall ways to design and to operate at low dissolved oxygen enables the evolution of activated sludge to resource recovery; and
- explain how low DO applications for nutrient removal technologies can yield nutrient recovery in water resource and recovery facilities.
