Knowing the condition of linear assets and being able to make unbiased decisions to identify and prioritize future projects based on risk is the key to maintaining a robust collection system. Many digital tools exist and will be examined in this learning module. Specifically, experts and solution providers will review condition assessment programs, tools to better leverage vast amounts of data about the collection system, and determine long term needs for renewal and rehabilitation.
At the end of this learning module, participants will be able to
