This webcast took place on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM Eastern.

Historically, open cut replacement has been the most common method for renewal of pressurized sewer force mains. This is primarily due to the lack of available rehabilitation technologies appropriate for pressure pipe application. While there is a wealth of knowledge and well accepted industry standards available for using these technologies in gravity systems, experience is limited in pressure pipe and standards are virtually non-existent. As rehabilitation technologies evolve, their applicability in pressure pipe is more appropriate. This session includes several case studies on successful and not so successful pressure pipe rehabilitation projects and provides the academic, contractor, engineer, and owner perspectives.

Speakers:

  • John Matthews, Trenchless Technology Center, Louisiana Tech
  • Ian Lancaster, Senior Director of Pressure Pipe, Aegion Corporation
  • John Moody, Primus Line
